Course Designers must have an intensive feeling for lines, dimensions and rhythm, and they should own a high degree of creativity. Working with a computer will not change this. Knowing this, especially for the Course Designer’s work our software “PPD” (= Professional Parcours Design) was developed.
PPD and a laptop are enough to draw and prepare at home or at the horse show professional course plans with all details. With a simple mouse click you insert
- optimal lines/tracks
- type of fences
- dimensions
- distances
- length of courses,
all in scale. You print working plans for assistants, official course plans and special plans for media and TV.
After the show all your course plans are in your computer file with your notes and recommendations, and they can be used as the basis for future events.
PPD is the only existing program for course designers world wide, and most International Course Designers use it. The 2003 version is available as well as full version or as update.
